The Magic Communities

Mag­ic com­pris­es two communities:

This first is a ser­vice orga­ni­za­tion sus­tained by peo­ple who oper­ate, sup­port, and oth­er­wise par­tic­i­pate in pro­grams of Mag­ic, a 501(c)(3) charity.

Mag­ic Res­i­dent Asso­ciate Jen Bay­er col­lects sur­plus food from a local farmer for dis­tri­b­u­tion to local char­i­ta­ble organizations.

The sec­ond is an inten­tion­al com­mu­ni­ty of peo­ple who apply ecol­o­gy to fur­ther com­mon good and occu­py homes owned by Mag­ic, the char­i­ta­ble organization.

Mag­ic fel­lows, res­i­dents, and musi­cian friends lead win­ter sol­stice sin­ga­long and dancing.
